Having always loved the clothing industry, I knew I wanted to study Fashion at a young age. While at school I undertook Art and Textiles, I loved creating prints in my art classes and designing in textiles. I went on to study a Foundation Diploma in art and design as I was unsure when I finished my A-Levels if I wanted to study print design or fashion. After completing this I went on to study Fashion at Northumbria University, I chose to study here as it had an industrial placement year and I felt that the best way to learn and be creative was by getting real life experience. I was privileged to be able to intern at EAST, Preen and Urban Outfitters. When finishing University, I went on to work as a design assistant at Free People in the US, which is by far my greatest achievement as Free People has always been a place I aspired to work. Due to visa restrictions and the 2020 covid-19 outbreak, my visa was unable to be extended. I am currently looking for either a full-time job or freelance work within womenswear high street, I have experience designing dresses and tops.
